Tricks to make your Eyes look Bigger

Eyes are the window of the soul, and this is why they are considered one of the most important part of a makeup look. Huge eyes is a universal beauty feature, and also people with bigger eyes are perceived to be younger as well. The great news is that big eyes is so achievable with the right makeup techniques.
I will show you the ultimate tricks and tips on how to make your eyes look nice and big:

Tip #1: Use the Right Concealer Shade

The wrong concealer shade can make your eyes look tiny. When using a very lighter shade than your skin's, it can really shrink your eyes.

Tip #2: Contour the Eyelid 

I guess you have already heard about contouring your face but do you know that contouring your eyes is same important ? You should utilize the space around your eyes properly, so you can make sure your eyes look big. I would recommend you to always contour the eyelid with a brown shade and make circles on the lid until the contour of your eyes is done.

Tip #3: Highlighting the right places

That's my favorite part of eye makeup look, especially when you are going on a date or a special event that you just want to glow. Highlighting the right places on your eyelid can make your eyes look bigger. Use a shimmery shadow for your eyelid and put some highlighter on your brow bone to complete the eye contouring. Never apply eye shadow under your brow bone.

Tip #4: Use Eyeliner properly 

There is a misconception that applying too much eyeliner, can make your eyes look smaller. But what you want to do, is make sure to apply the eyeliner on a shape. Apply just a thin layer of eyeliner on your eyes until the inner corner of your eyes. The nicest trick is to apply a white creamy pencil on the lower rim of your eyes. It definitely makes your eyes look bigger. Never apply the eyeliner or a black eye pencil in the lower rim of your eyes.

Tip #5: Use Mascara and Lashes 

This is the best part. You can try to use eyelash curler before applying the mascara on your lashes. It can give a nice shape to your lashes, but make sure to use it cautiously so you don't accidentally pull out lashes. Use mascara to make your lashes longer. To make a more dramatic look, I would recommend using false lashes. A lot of people might be scared that false lashes are too heavy, but you have to apply them on your liner and not put them directly on your eyes. Always use  tweezers when applying the lashes. After, apply again mascara. False eyelashes makes your eyes look open and big. Another trick is to add a little bit of shimmer to the inner corner of your eyes to make your eyes look nicer. It take them to a next level.

Tip #6: Don't forget your lower lash line

Adding mascara to your lower lashes, will make your eyes look wider and open. For a softer look, you can use brown mascara or even colored mascara depending on your preference. But definitely, add mascara on your lower lashes for a more defined look.
