Fight your Acne with this simple Mask!

Acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones and other substances on the skin's oil glans and hair follicles. Acne lesions usually occur on the face, neck, chest, shoulders and back. Although acne doesn't bring any serious health consequences, it can be a source of significant emotional distress. Severe acne can lead to permanent scarring.
People of all races and ages get acne. It is most common in young adults and adolescents. For most people, acne tends to go away by the time they reach their thirties. However, some people continue to have this skin problem even after that age.
The exact cause of acne is unknown, but doctors believe that it results from several related factors. One important factor is an increase in hormones called androgen ( male sex hormones ). These increase in boys and girls during puberty. Also, hormonal changes related to pregnancy or starting or stopping birth control pills can cause acne. Another factor is genetics. According to researchers, the tendency to develop acne can be inherited from parents. Also, greasy cosmetics may alter the cells of the follicles and make them stick together, producing as plug.
Stress doesn't cause acne but research suggest that for people who have acne, stress can definitely worsen it.

I have discovered this miracle mask which helps fighting acne.

Ingredients:

  • Honey

Honey is well known for its benefit to soothe redness and irritation due its anti-inflammatory properties. Honey is rich with antibacterial agents that destroy the bacteria that leads to breakouts.

  • Cinnamon

Cinnamon contains properties that allow it to bring oxygen and blood to the skin's surface. This helps dry out the skin and acne problem areas.

Preparation:

In a clean bowl, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 2 teaspoons of honey. Mix them well together, until a thick paste is formed. Spread the mixture over your face and under your chin, using your fingers. Leave it on your face for around 10-15 minutes. After, rinse it off with warm water. You can apply after a toner to cleanse and freshen your face.

I recommend to use this mask no more than 1-2 times weekly.
